Do you like watching the
Antique's Road Show? On those
shows, an expert on antiques looks at a person's
prize possession and places
a monetary value upon it. The value varies based
upon its condition, uniqueness
or who owned it. But ultimately, value is
determined by the amount someone
is willing to pay for an item.
Would you pay $150.00 to have
someone pass a football
to you? Marc Bonham did. Why? Well, the person
throwing the ball was Hall
of Famer, Joe Montana. To Bonham, it was worth a
C note and a half to catch
a pass Montana threw.
"I can't believe I caught a
pass from Joe!" Bonham
said. "This is great. I think I am the biggest
kid here right now."
Would you pay $500.00 for a
baseball or $1500.00 for
a jersey? What if the baseball was signed by
Mickey Mantle and the Jersey
by Michael Jordan? Some people would, others
wouldn't. Ultimately, value
is determined by the amount someone is willing
to pay for an item.

What is your worth? Your
ultimate value is determined
by the price the Father was willing to pay to
redeem you.
John 3:16 "For God so loved
the world, that he gave
his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth
in him should not perish,
but have everlasting life."

Dakoda Garren used coins from a collection
valued at over a hundred
thousand dollars, spending them at face value,
to purchase movie tickets
and buy a pizza for himself and his girlfriend
Elizabeth Massman. According
to police, “One of the coins was a Liberty
quarter worth between $1,100
and $18,500.”
People often confuse value and worth. The
quarter had a value of .25,
but was worth thousands. Worth is determined by
what someone is willing
to pay. So what is the worth of a soul? To
answer that question, look carefully
at the price God was willing to pay to redeem
one.–Jim L. Wilson

Samee
Alam was eager to buy the
newest iPhone but chose a cheaper option
instead. In India, an iPhone costs over half the
average person’s salary. "I have never used an
iPhone and I was keen on
getting my hands on one but it didn't make
sense," says Alam,
"Cheaper alternatives like OnePlus are more
value for the money. The new
iPhones cost almost 100,000 rupees - I can get
three good phones for that price
or even a decent gaming laptop." —Jim

Philippians 3:8 (CSB)“More
than that, I also
consider everything to be a loss in view of the
surpassing value of knowing
Christ Jesus my Lord. Because of him I have
suffered the loss of all things and
consider them as dung, so that I may gain
Christ.”
