UNANSWERED PRAYERS
In his book, Out of the Whirlwind, Mark Tabb explains why
God doesn’t always answer our prayers the way we’d like Him to. He writes, “Job
thought his prayers bounced off the ceiling unheard. He could not understand
the silence from heaven. Yet the silence did not mean that God’s blessings were
suddenly taken away. No, God had something much greater in mind for his
servant. Through his nightmare Job would now bring glory to God not just on
earth but throughout heaven as well. His resolution to continue believing in
God even though everything around him screamed to do the opposite displayed
God’s greatness and silenced his critic—something material blessings could
never do.”

If you thought God could bring glory to Himself by not
giving you what you ask for when you pray, would you be willing to hear “no” to
your request?
Luke 22:42 NASB “Father, if Thou art willing, remove this
cup from Me; yet not My will, but Thine be done.”
