Troops from Denmark have joined the Security force in Iraq.
Though the Danes are struggling with temperatures around 120, they are prepared
for the worst—a blizzard.
The 400 soldiers from Denmark reported to Iraq equipped with
snow shovels, brooms, and a lawnmower to help them fulfill their mission of
restoring law and order in the war-torn nation. The Danish troops are stationed
at Camp Eden in the desert near the southern Iraqi town of Qurna, which is
north of Basra.
When asked about the Danish equipment, Jess Rasmussen form
the Danish Army Operational Command’s material section said, “It’s all part of
a standard camp equipment.” He adds, “It clearly should have been taken out
before shipment, but on the other hand it makes no harm”

The one-size-fits-all approach to ministry rarely fits
anyone. It is easy to follow standard operating procedures instead of using
common sense, or better yet uncommon spiritual sense. Instead of always doing
what we’ve always done, the church would do well to do God-breathed
ministry—ministry that is based on the word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 NIV “All Scripture is God-breathed and is
useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so
that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
