SOWING TOO RAPIDLY

In their book, "The Insider", Peterson & Shamy write "We like to think there are shortcuts to taking the gospel to the nations of the world. As a society of entrepreneurs it's hard for us to accept the idea that shortcuts might not exist. We believe that if we can just plan a little bigger and can give enough money we can make it happen. But it doesn't work that way. Occasionally we hear reports of large numbers responding somewhere in the world. But, sometimes, when we investigate these reports we find there is little or nothing that endured by way of fruit. The rule seems to stand, with few exceptions: Where there has been little sowing there will be little reaping."
