What does it mean to be
human? Some would say being human
means we’re flawed. Whenever they make a mistake
they say, “Hey, I’m only
human.” The bible gives a clear answer to the
question, “What does it mean to
be human,” in the creation narrative. Being
human means we are created in God’s
image.
Genesis 1:27 NASB “And God
created man in His own image, in
the image of God He created him; male and female
He created them.”
Humanity
Author G. K. Chesterson
wrote, “All theology has two simple
principles: that we matter and that everyone
else matters.” That restates the
Apostle Paul’s instruction that we are to regard
others as more important than
ourselves.
In this day of Black Lives
Matter, white lives matter, or
all lives matter, it is good to remember that
each of us is to remember, all
other lives matter. —Jim L. Wilson and Rodger
