FEELINGS
A recent survey conducted by the Barna Organization uncovered
some interesting statistics about spirituality in America. The poll found that
9 out of ten adults said they feel "accepted by God." Researchers
also found that 62 percent of Americans consider themselves "deeply
spiritual."
Despite feeling accepted and deeply spiritual, more than
half of the respondents said they make moral decisions based on specific
principles or standards they believe in. A quarter of those who answered the
survey claimed they made moral decisions based on what felt right or comfortable
for them. Only 16 percent of American adults said their moral choices were
based on what the Bible says.

Regardless of what we feel or think about spirituality and
being accepted by God, Jesus said there is only one way to live an abundant
life.
John 14:6 (ESV) "Jesus said to him, "I am the way,
and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
